Q．Is there anything I need to bring?

Please bring a bath towel. It is more effective for your skin to take an enzyme bath without makeup, so please come with no makeup or cleansing products.
We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap to promote the absorption of enzymes.

Q．I am currently pregnant. Can I use the bath?

If you have not received any special precautions from your obstetrician, you may enter the fermentation process. We have had many pregnant women use our services and have received many positive reports.
However those that are pregnant we ask them to enter the bath at their own risk.
The midwifery clinic “Plumeria” is located on the second floor of the main Plumeria Enzyme Bath, so if you have any concerns about pregnancy or childbirth, you can consult with a midwife.

Q．I am menstruating. Can I use the bath?

Yes, you can enter during menstruation. Please bring cotton panties and a large sanitary napkin.
We recommend that you bring cotton panties and a large sanitary napkin, as these items will promote the elimination of menstrual blood and help relieve menstrual cramps.

Q．How old does a baby have to be to enter the bath?

Babies can be admitted immediately after birth. We recommend that babies under 3 months of age sleep with their mothers for their peace of mind.
After fermentation, our staff will also bathe the baby.

Q．I am attending a hospital. Can I use the bath?

If you are able to take a bath at home, there is basically no problem with taking an enzyme bath, but if you are concerned, please consult your doctor.

Q．I am not good at sauna. I am worried that I will get sick or faint.

We adjust the temperature and humidity in the room so that you can breathe comfortably, so you will not feel suffocated like in a sauna. Also, the enzyme powder itself is light, so you will hardly feel any pressure. During fermentation, you can also remove your hands and feet from the enzyme powder.
Some people may experience these symptoms after fermentation, although they vary from person to person.
（１）Relaxation reaction: lethargy, drowsiness, fatigue
（２）Hypersensitivity reaction: constipation, diarrhea, pain, swelling, sweating
（３）Excretory reaction: pimples, rash, skin changes, eye discharge, urine color changes
（４） Recovery reaction: fever, nausea, abdominal pain, lethargy
The above symptoms will improve within a day to a week. If these reactions occur, symptoms tend to improve more easily if fermentation is performed without an interval.

Q．Enzyme baths have an image of being smelly.

We do not use any rice bran. We use high-quality Japanese “100% hinoki” sawdust, so there is none of the fermentation odor characteristic of enzyme baths. The scent of hinoki is reminiscent of a soothing forest.
The odor does not stick to the body, so it is possible to go out as is after fermentation.

Q．Is there any problem with hygiene?

Our facility is operating under the Okinawa Prefecture Public Bathhouse Law business license. Please rest assured that our facilities have passed strict hygiene and equipment checks. In addition to the sterilizing effect of the hinoki itself, legionella and E. coli cannot live in the hinoki powder, whose temperature rises to about 70 degrees Celsius due to our advanced fermentation technology. We replace the enzyme powder every day, and we carefully remove and discard the sweat of customers who have fermented just before each fermentation. Please feel free to ferment with peace of mind.

Q．How many people can use the bath?

We have two hinoki baths. Two people can enter at the same time, so please come with your family or friends. However, please check availability and make reservations in advance as each bath is subject to availability.

Q．Can I pay by credit card?

We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not accept credit cards. Please understand that we accept payment in cash.

Q．What are your regular holidays and business hours?

We are not closed on holidays. We are open from 14:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday through Saturday (last appointment at 16:00) *Booking available by phone: 7:00 to 20:00.
We may be closed in case of typhoons, bad weather, etc. Please check the notice on our website or call us to confirm in advance.

Q．Do you provide childcare services?

We do not provide childcare services. Please note that we do not have a playroom for children.
